Account & subscription: email, name (if provided), plan, status, billing metadata from Squarespace.

Tracking inputs: cruise line, ship, sail date, departure port, up to 3 cabin codes, booked price, alert threshold, optional deep booking link.

Usage & device: basic analytics (pages viewed, timestamps, IP-derived region), cookies similar technologies.

Communications: emails you send us and our alert emails to you.

3) How we use data

Provide and improve the Service (price checks, alerts, dashboards).

Enforce plan limits and detect abuse.

Communicate important updates, alerts, and account notices.

Security, debugging, and fraud prevention.

Comply with legal obligations.

4) Sharing & processors

We don’t sell your personal data. We use service providers to run GoWandr, such as:

Squarespace (checkout/payments)

Supabase (database/infra)

UI Bakery (onboarding forms/admin UI)

Email provider (transactional emails/alerts)

Analytics (privacy-respecting usage metrics)

Processors only access what’s needed to perform their services for us.

5) Cookies

We use essential cookies for login/session and limited analytics cookies for product improvement. You can control cookies in your browser.

6) Data retention

Account & subscription records: kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for compliance and bookkeeping.

Tracking data & alerts: retained while your cruises are active and for historical reference, then archived or deleted on a schedule.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method is 100% secure; please protect your credentials.

8) Your choices & rights

Access, correct, or delete your data by emailing [support@gowandr.com].

Opt-out of non-essential emails via unsubscribe links.

California (CCPA/CPRA): You may request access, deletion, or to limit use of sensitive data (we don’t use sensitive categories). We do not sell personal information.

9) Children

The Service is not for children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect children’s data.

10) International users

Our systems and providers may process data in the United States and other locations. By using the Service, you consent to that processing.

11) Changes

We’ll update this Policy as needed and post the new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app.
